Based on 227 reviewsDish Room Restaurant, located within a prominent medical facility in Kuala Lumpur, is frequently praised for its professional and attentive staff, creating a welcoming and caring atmosphere for guests. Customers consistently highlight the restaurant’s clean, modern environment and efficient service, aligning with the broader reputation of the surrounding establishment for high standards. While specific feedback emphasizes the quality of food and hospitality, the overall sentiment underscores a seamless and positive dining experience that complements the advanced and well-organized setting. The restaurant benefits from its integration within a respected medical centre, contributing to a sense of trust and reliability among visitors.
Chose to do my medical procedure at CVSKL given its strong reputation as the leading heart centre with advanced technology, and was very glad I did. Of course the No.1 important factor was the positive experience with my cardio and all medical staff at CVSKL who are professional, skilled and genuinely caring. Furthermore, the modern facilities/wards, spacious rooms with comprehensive amenities, and even surprisingly delicious meals with wide variety of options - really contributed to make the experience from admission to discharge more comfortable for patients. Given these key factors, I would 100% recommend CVSKL to those seeking relevant treatment - bearing in mind this comes with a corresponding price tag. However there are areas for improvement when it comes to operational and administration services in general. While these are perhaps not the top priority for any hospital, I believe these enhancements will ultimately make the total experience less stressful and more welcoming/pleasant for patients. Top of mind are these two:(1) Strong need to improve pre-surgery admin communication and process, starting from when the appointment for surgery is made. I was asked to go to the admission desk to be briefed on the pre-surgery process, but there I was only given was a piece of paper with CVSKL bank account details and verbally asked to make 80% deposit by admission day. When I called the admissions dept with more questions, the staff on the phone could not answer most questions, apart from reiterating about payment - so I gave up asking anything and googled my own answers. After making the deposit transfer in two parts to CVSKL, I sent two emails AND WhatsApp messages to the contacts provided, and never received any acknowledgement of my transfer slips sent. On the evening of admission, I was told by the staff at the counter that the deposit still needed to be paid which naturally caused me some degree of irritation.I'm sure it would be super appreciated if admissions department staff could be more customer/patient minded, and not just finance/admin focused. Of course getting patients to pay up is understandably an important part of the job, but patients naturally expect to have some degree of customer service in return e.g. receiving a proper PRE-admission briefing, being able to receive answers to FAQs, acknowledging payments, answering emails etc. Currently the patient experience in this regard is a far cry from other private hospitals of the same calibre.(2) Improve registration process for consultations. For appointments, patients have the possibility to register from 7am onwards. I arrived at 6.55am one day and to my great surprise, saw the security guard stopping everyone from going up to the clinics (I.e. not allowing them to use the lift or escalator until exactly 7am). I am unsure why there needs to be such a military approach - why not let patients at least get a queue number for registration, so it is really and fairly "first come first served"? At 7am there was a mad rush of people running up the escalator/stairs or squeezing into the lift - and obviously it was not the first people who arrived who got a ticket first since there was no queueing system on the ground floor. I'm not convinced this is the best way to treat patients at such a refined hospital (feels like school kids being disciplined) and recommend this process can be re-evaluated to be more dignified and efficient.Have lots more practical feedback on things like parking, discharge process and the cafe but all these are purely operational/admin issues which can go a long way to elevating the overall patient experience if done better, but have no bearing on the high quality of medical care and attention received at CVSKL So all that being said, thanks again to my cardio and all nursing/medical staff at Ward 4 for taking such good care of me!
I had an excellent experience at CVS. The staff were professional, kind, and attentive from start to finish. The doctors took the time to explain everything clearly, and I felt confident in their care. The facility was clean, well-organized, and equipped with modern technology. I truly appreciate the efficient service and would highly recommend this medical center to anyone seeking quality healthcare.
Took my 97yr old mum to CVS Emergency this morning as she had a bad case of diarrhoea. Dr Shafiq bin Rosli attended us very well and eased mum’s misery. Special mention to Male Nurse Rizal who did the IV drips insertion on mum’s hand, he did it so gently without the agonising pain which comes with it when some people do it.Well done both of you.
On December 31, 2024, while on a business trip to Malaysia, I suffered a sudden heart attack and was on the verge of death. Fortunately, the team at CVSKL responded swiftly, and I underwent emergency surgery, which saved my life.I am deeply grateful to Dr. Wan Faizal for his exceptional care. Even now, during my follow-up visits when I visit to Malaysia, he continues to provide thorough explanations and attentive medical care with great kindness.I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Ms. Husna for always assisting with a bright smile. She has helped me multiple times with the necessary documents, making the process much easier.I truly admire the level of kindness, dedication, and medical service I have received here—something that is hard to find even in hospitals in Korea. I express my utmost respect and gratitude.
Positive Memorable Customer Service - defines Datuk Dr Rosli’s team plus supporting staff of CVSKL in their commitment to ensure patients are in the best care. Kudos.
One of the best hospital in town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend their doctors here. They are knowledgeable and kind, but be prepared to wait. However, parking is super expensive and they are very limited. Half of the parking is designated for doctors and valet parking. Good luck in finding one.
I have been regularly going to another hospital for my annual health screening, but decided on CVSKL because I wanted to check on my heart too plus they had availability on my preferred dates. Very glad that I did go to CVSKL as there are noticeable differences compared to the other hospital I would regularly go to.Service was professional and prompt from the start. One of the highlights to me was that it wasn't packed even though I head one of the ladies mentioning that they won't be accepting anymore walk-ins.The ultrasound scan was a lot more thorough than what I'm used to - to me, this shows that they are not running like a factory comparing to the other hospital I usually go to.Lastly but certainly not the least, due to my experience (and/or ignorance) I was pleasantly surprised to have a Cardiologist go through my results with me thoroughly; not a general one. Dr. Suren was professional, friendly and warm. The last two qualities might not be what's necessarily needed from a busy Cardiologist, but I am definitely switching to CVSKL for my regular screening hereon. It's good to feel cared for in Health"care"
We stay here for 12 days. Had angioplasty and stern treatment with DR. Tamil. Such a god doctor he is. Not enough say thanks to him. So far stay at ward 3. Some nurses are not well trained specially pink color and uniform. Others are very good take care us well. Miss Ros and Miss Liza I only thier name can remember. Thanks for other Indian doctors too.. Cleaning not that much satisfied. Toilet have hairs at drain but they didn’t clean well.. The first day we do admission 1 Malay lady was very rude to us.. Doctors are the at CVSKL. Otherwise all good.
